Nigerian Terrorist group, Boko Haram has offered to release the 276 school girls they abducted on April 14, 2014 in exchange for prisoners.

The message was relayed via a 17-minute video, showing about a hundred of the girls according to media reports. In the video, Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram said the girls were now converted to Islam. He said the girls would only be released once the Nigerian government had freed imprisoned Boko Haram militants. The girls were abducted from Chibok, in the state of Bomo which is predominantly a Christian community.
Meanwhile, pressure is mounting worldwide fuelled by a social media campaign under the hashtag, #BringBackOurGirls.
